An average game despite the great game it is adapted from. Oddworld Adventures retain its puzzle platform roots from the PlayStation game, except the graphics, which are pretty basics. I understand that one have to sacrifice details and backgrounds for the sake of clarity, especially on Game Boy, but in this case, this is too much of a cut. Games like Dragon’s Lair does it better, and it came out 8 years prior! The core of the game is still good, but it really feels bare bones as it is.
