Itchy & Scratchy: Miniature Golf Madness (Game Boy - Beam Software - 1994 - EUR)

What an odd game this is. It tries to combine mini golf and platform game and fails in both genre. Having a view from the side to play mini golf is counter intuitive: you never really know where the ball goes. And the platform side of the game is basic at best. There is only one type of enemy (Itchy) and even though it’s fun to massacre this poor fellow, it feels quite repetitive right from the start. It’s a shame because I really love those two characters.
