A 1983 classic that fits pretty well on Game Boy. As one of the earliest title on the handheld, Hyper Lode Runner’s presentation is bare bones but the core gameplay is fun. I remember being attracted by the gorgeous cover art and being curious about the game itself, but fortunately I didn’t buy: I doubt that my young self would have solve even the first stage. The puzzles are quite intense right from the start, which is a good challenge for some, but a big no-no for me. Anyway, a good early game for the system.
