Definitely one of my favorite game cover art of all time. It’s simple yet very catchy. That’s why I never knew what this game was about, back in the days: the art wasn’t informative enough and so was the title. But man, those geometric samurais knew how to catch my imagination. Otherwise, Mercenary Force is not your typical shooting game. There is a bit of team and money management out there! I really dig the medieval japanese setting rather than yet another space shooter. The game is very hard, there are so many things to avoid and to react to. I definitely should try harder with it.
