I know that Super Metroid has some sort of a cult following, but back in the days it never really caught my attention. I preferred more straightforward action games rather than a brain-scratching maze. So when I wanted to get my own copy of it a few years ago, I was chocked by its price! How expensive that was! I eventually managed to get me Super Metroid for a reasonable price, not the version with the guide but the one with the instructions manual. Anyway, I learned to appreciate Super Metroid even it it confusing at time: I got stuck in the same area for the longest time because I wasn’t aware there was a run button. I assumed Samus already run! Oh well...
