ITS’A ME, MARIO!!! HELLO!!! If you didn’t read that in Mario’s voice, this post may not be for you 😋😂😎 Hello everyone, something a little different this morning. As usual, it’s early morning Saturday, the coffee is hot and strong, and my favorite true crime pod cast is providing the backdrop to a top tier gaming session. That’s right, movies are on the back burner for a few hours while I knock out a handful of stars in Super Mario 64, one of my favorite and most played games from my childhood. I was a massive PS1/N64 devotee through and through, but I only briefly owned a GameCube and Wii, and wasn’t nearly as into them as the NES/SNES. I never actually played Super Mario Sunshine or Galaxy, so for me, this sequel to the iconic Super Mario All Stars is actually mostly a new experience and I’m particularly psyched. Did anyone else manage to pick up this weirdly promoted/limited release? What’s your all time favorite Mario game? For me, it’s always going to be the All Stars version of Super Mario 3, and Super Mario World 😎
