- Denne varer er brugt Beskrivelse SCEE's 'Hardware Network Technology' (working title) is a fast action, fun-packed arcade blasting, online multi-player combat game that promises to be the ultimate death match experience, putting the player in the driving seat of some of the most powerful military fighting vehicles in existence today. Players are brought together online, placed in a massive purpose built environment equipped with high-tech weaponry and are then let loose with the primary purpose to destroy their opponents as many times as possible! Hardware Network Technology's game play is similar to arcade style games, with simple controls and easy pick up and play appeal. It won't be long before you are hunting down your opponents and blowing their vehicles into hundreds of useless metal fragments. The pace is fast, the weapons spectacular and the vehicles deadly and quick. Hardware Network technology is designed to build an online network community with plans for downloads, community-based competitions and episodic content that can take into account the requests and requirements of the players to ensure maximum game play satisfaction. The online community will be encouraged to form clans and will regularly be invited to enter into online competitions to win major prizes. You will be able to record your scores and compare your ranks against all other players as they attempt to attain the number 1 ranking and the kudos that comes with it! A single player game type will be available to allow the user to hone their skills against some A.I. "bots" offline before returning to the fray online. Game models will be very realistic and detailed but they will be textured in a slightly bolder and more arcade fashion. Traditional camouflage patterns will be used but different colours will be added to aid player identification. The levels and buildings will also follow the realistic style but the settings and locations will be incredibly diverse. Extra Multiplayer Maps – Far more maps will be available to gamers which will include new pickups and much more diverse environments Extra Vehicles & Weapons – More vehicles and weapons which will increase the depth of the game. Gamers will be able to buy some optional texture sets and decals in order to individually customise their vehicles Additional Game Types - Capture the Flag and Team Death-match options will be available Hardware Website – Subscribers will get access to a dedicated web-site that will give players a focal point to get together and chat about the game, find out about the latest news and competitions, discuss new features and check the rankings and stats for all players within the community Competitions and Leagues – Subscribers will gain access to leagues or competitions some of which will offer big prizes to the winners. Their scores and overall ranking will be stored and they will be able to see how they compare against all the other players Online Community – gamers will be able to create clans or groups and begin to build an online community SMS Messaging – Although not part of the game itself, when gamers subscribe they will be given a unique I.D. with which they can log on to the Hardware website. When doing this they can choose to have any Hardware news about competitions, feature updates and rankings sent as SMS messages to their mobile phone. • JogosWhy Ape Escape Is the PS1 Black Label Worth HuntingApe Escape wouldn't even start without a DualShock. Sony's Japan Studio shipped it in 1999 as the first PlayStation game to require both analog sticks – left stick steers Spike, right stick swings the Stun Club and the Time Net – and the original digital pad got politely told to sit down. That gamble is what makes it the defining late-era PS1 game to collect: a first-party title that only makes sense on Sony's own hardware, released in the console's victory-lap years. If you're going to own one
  • GlossárioWhy Collectors Chase Black Label PS2 Games Over Greatest HitsTwo copies of the same PlayStation 2 game, side by side on a shop shelf. Same disc, same manual, same everything – except one spine is black and the other wears a red stripe. To a casual buyer they're interchangeable. To a collector, only one of them is the copy. That red stripe is the Greatest Hits banner, and learning to read it – along with Platinum, Player's Choice, Nintendo Selects and the rest of the budget re-release family – is the fastest way to level up from "person with old games" to
  • ConsolesThe Sega Dreamcast: The Console That Died Too SoonSeptember 9, 1999. Sega spent the day chanting "9/9/99" like a marketing incantation, and for once the hype was earned. The Dreamcast landed in North America with a launch lineup that actually mattered, a 128-bit Hitachi SH-4 CPU, and a built-in 56k modem nobody else was brave enough to bundle. It was the first console of the sixth generation, and it beat the PlayStation 2 to market by more than a year. And then it was gone. Sega pulled the plug on hardware in early 2001, barely 18 months into
