Springfield isn’t exactly known for order, structure, and long-term planning. That makes the graffiti-look quite fitting. The graffiti design gives The Simpsons a a rougher edge, yet it retains the recognizable style of the family, which has proven that you can make the same mistakes for decades and still get a new episode out of it. Homer still has his own approach to problem-solving. Bart still has his own approach to rules. And the rest of Springfield mostly tries to get through the day. A Simpsons T-shirt for fans who want the classic series with a bit more street-art attitude. Eat my shorts. It’s still not a particularly constructive answer. But it’s a classic one.
