Best of the Best: Championship Karate (Game Boy - Loriciel - 1992 - FAH)

Best of the Best looks like a fighting game from the pre Street Fighter II era. It means it is more a fighting simulation than a fighting game as we understand it nowadays. The graphics and animations are as realistic as it can be on Game Boy, it looks nice and fluid, but gameplay-wise it suffers from lag input, slow action and general stiffness. Fighters tends to run into each other, making the action barely readable and playable. That’s a shame since this port of the PC game offers a wide variety of options and modes.
