The King of Fighters: Heat of Battle (Game Boy - Takara - 1997 - EUR)

In my opinion, the best fighting game on Game Boy. It have it all: frenzy action, quick and responsive gameplay, satisfying combos and footsies, a good cast of characters, nice graphics and musics (especially love the Iori and Geese themes). The scorcher mode is crazy and allows you to perform EX versions of special moves and supers never seen in any other installment of the serie. Sounds are enhanced when the game is played on Super Game Boy, which is nice. Somehow I’ve lost the instruction manual and I’m pretty upset about it. My only regret: not knowing someone else who own this game and is willing to challenge me. Someday I should organize a tournament of Game Boy’s fighting games...
