Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures

Playmates picked up the Turtles licence in 1988 when the comic was still black-and-white and self-published, and the cartoon turned it into one of the best-selling toy lines of the decade. The range ran to hundreds of figures, most of them variants nobody asked for and everybody now wants.

The 1988 to 1992 waves are the collectable core, and NECA’s modern reissues have made the original card art valuable in its own right. Loose figures are common; complete with accessories is not.
