The Girl and the Dream Castle

Bruno, a young man who is also a former holiday child, visits Aunt Vollesen. He has a certain connection to smuggling and gangster circles and harbors a devious suspicion that Aunt Vollesen is hiding valuable papers - and perhaps is the true owner of the castle. At the castle lives Karsten with his aunt and uncle. Tine and Karsten meet and fall in love. When Aunt Vollesen dies shortly thereafter, it is revealed that Bruno was right: She owns the castle! In the meantime, Bruno has secured some of Tine’s personal papers. When she returns to Copenhagen - without leaving an address - Bruno lets his girlfriend move into the castle in Tine’s name.
